Stanford EdLEADers

Professional Certificate Program

About Stanford EdLEADers

For the past 50 years, the Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) have leveraged their interdisciplinary perspectives to equip leaders to drive education innovations. Stanford EdLEADers, the most recent GSE and GSB collaboration, is designed to address the opportunities and challenges of school system superintendents, aspiring superintendents and education thought-leaders whose work impacts entire school systems. Program participants will gain new insights and leadership skills to effect innovation and systemic improvement in their school districts for the larger purpose of improving student outcomes, and building stronger, more effective schools.

Stanford EdLEADers builds on the GSB’s highly successful LEAD Corporate Innovation Professional Certificate program, which has set a standard of excellence for delivering high-quality executive education in an online format. Stanford EdLEADers adapts this program for educational settings and will draw on faculty from both GSB and GSE to provide the latest thinking on effective organizational management combined with deep insights about teaching and learning.
